He’s Brett, I’m Carlee.
We met and he quickly realized that he wanted to spend forever together. Although I wasn’t on board with it quite as quickly, it didn’t take me long to realize that forever sounded like a pretty good idea. Our relationship was mainly long distance, and I hated having to spend time apart. They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder, and I’m fully on board with that statement.
He proposed in his favorite place on a day that meant a lot to me. We got married 4 months later, and he whisked me away to his tiny college town so he can finish his degree in CIT. After this, we’ll go adventure together in who-knows-where + someday start a family. We’re excited.
